Recently we launched three new UltraTools as free one-stop resources for DNS, domain tools and diagnostics. The tools are designed to help manage your day –to- day domain and DNS administration. They are:
- WHOIS+
- DNS Monitoring
- UltraTools Mobile for Android Devices
WHOIS+ goes beyond typical Whois tools. It provides a wealth of information about domains including Whois registration data, a site profile, and IP information. With the information from WHOIS+ you can learn who owns a domain, where it is registered, when it expires, how to contact the owner and more. You will also be able to learn the geographic location of the domain website and information about its IP addresses.
DNS Monitoring helps you keep track of your domain’s availability on the public Internet. The configuration of your DNS is critical to the health of your domain. There are three different types of monitoring: authoritative, recursive and mail server RBL. The authoritative DNS monitoring alerts you when your DNS settings have changed. Recursive DNS monitoring notifies you when top public recursive DNS servers provide answers other than ones you define as correct for your domains. When your mail server’s IP address is added to top Spam Real-time Block List (RBLs) the Mail Server RBL Monitoring will alert you and provide information on how to contact the provider of the block list.
