In Las Vegas, Neustar Showcases Latest Advances in Mobile Internet Solutions
It’s no secret that our mobile devices have become central to our identities; we expect that our handhelds will enable us to make the most of our digital lives wherever we are. With a prominent location at CTIA Wireless 2010, Neustar was in prime position to unveil its latest Mobile Internet Solutions – and three extremely busy and productive days later, delivered on that potential.
Neustar’s overarching message at CTIA was unmistakable: We make the IP-driven world work and grow in exciting new ways – from mobile marketing and advertising to new presence-based applications to mobile money transfer. Overall, the event itself drew significantly more traffic than last year despite the lingering effects of a down economy – and by the end of the first day alone, Neustar had secured over 100 interested contacts.
Of particular emphasis was the 2D barcode, which is emerging as a convenient and ubiquitous mobile marketing vehicle that easily delivers relevant content to consumers and empowers marketers by making traditional media both interactive and measurable. To give attendees a “real-world” example of the power of 2D barcodes, Neustar partnered with Visa on the popular “Check Your Balance” promotion on the floor of CTIA, giving away $100 Visa gift cards each hour of the show to 14 lucky contest participants. In addition, Jon Paisner, senior analyst with Yankee Group, presented “Raising the Bar: The Key to Successful 2D Opportunities” to a large crowd at the Neustar stand on March 23.
“With Neustar, our customers will be able to seamlessly integrate Common Short Codes, 2D barcodes, mobile financial services, mobile messaging and more into their suites of service offerings – and drive real loyalty,” said Matthew Valleskey, senior marketing manager for mobile services. “The result: rich communications offerings that increase profitability and deliver a seamless user experience across any device and any service at any time. CTIA was another huge success for Neustar in terms of industry exposure.”
