Neustar announced today that technology journalist Kim Hart will join the company as Director of Corporate Communications. In her new role at Neustar, which begins August 6, Ms. Hart will lead media relations and public policy communications. She will report directly to Neustar Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Scott Blake Harris.
“As Neustar continues to grow, we are excited to add Kim’s industry expertise, entrepreneurial spirit and media savvy to our already strong team,” said Mr. Harris.
Most recently, Ms. Hart was Politico’s Senior Technology Reporter, focusing on policy issues affecting the technology and telecommunications industries. At Politico, she was instrumental in launching Politico Pro, a successful subscription news service, and was the original author of the widely read Morning Tech newsletter. Previously, she launched and wrote the Hillicon Valley blog for The Hill, and covered technology as a business reporter and columnist for The Washington Post.
Ms. Hart studied journalism and public relations at the University of Florida and received a Masters degree in public affairs journalism from the University of Maryland. She has taught journalism classes at Georgetown University and George Washington University.
